Want to know how this ecosystem thrives?

Here's the condensed science behind it: So plants need carbon dioxide to survive, just as humans need oxygen in order to live. Plants emit oxygen for us to live and we emit carbon dioxide for them to live. That vital & beautiful relationship is called mutualism or a biological symbiosis. So if the terrarium is sealed who is giving the plant carbon dioxide?? Well, this is the super cool part. It would be the bacteria in the soil. The moisture builds up in bottle causing condensation and it 'rains' back down. The plant then sheds off small pieces and those tiny sheddings will rot into the soil and feed the bacteria. From its feeding, the bacteria then emits carbon dioxide for photosynthesis. And now therein lies mutualism, again, but this time it's between the bacteria and the plant.
