Probiotic Peach & Chia Seed Smoothie

A breakfast smoothie that is vegan, probiotic rich and downright delicious!

What a convenient way to slip in your daily dose of probiotics! Each week or so, I make a batch of vegan probiotic yogurt that I throw in a variety of meals: smoothies, papaya bowls, you name it! It’s a diverse and practical meal additive.


Why do you need probiotics?!

Probiotics help you absorb nutrients! You aren’t what you eat, but what you absorb! When you lack sufficient normal gut flora, a host of issues could occur. And that’s a no bueno, but, an EASY fix!

This simple recipe is an easy way to maximize on your nutritional needs, all the while satisfying your taste buds!

6 SIMPLE INGREDIENTS

TOTAL TIME: < 5 minutes

What You’ll Need…

  • 1 Organic peach

  • 1/2 cup of Vegan Probiotic Yogurt

  • 1 Tsp of Organic Chia Seeds

  • 1/2 Cup of Coconut Milk

  • 1 Handful of Walnuts (or your nut of choice)

  • 1/2 Cup of Frozen Mango Cubes



Notes:

  • Instructions for Probiotic Yogurt HERE

  • Feel free to adjust measurements to your liking!

  • If you’re seeking a thicker smoothie, increase the amount of yogurt and reduce the amount of coconut milk, and if you desire a looser smoothie, decrease the amount of yogurt and add more coconut milk.



What To Do…

  • Add all of the listed ingredients into a nutribullet (or traditional blender) and blend well until liquified, scraping down sides as needed. Add liquid (coconut milk) if needed for blending and adjust flavor to taste if desired.

  • This smoothie is best when served fresh!
