Fruity Quinoa Cereal
a nutritious breakfast bowl
You're in for a treat (and loads of nutrition) with this simple breakfast recipe! With just 5 easy-find ingredients you can have a protein packed breakfast bowl. This recipe is actually my husbands creation and morning go-to! He likes it because it's yummy, simple, quick and nutrient-dense! Let's get started!
1 cup of cooked quinoa. (must be chilled overnight).
1/2 cup of tropical mixed dried fruit & cranberries.
1/4 cup of granola.
1/4 cup of almonds.
1 cup of almond milk.
Dark chocolate chips (optional).
Note: You have the option to add whatever fruit combination you like! Blueberries, dark chocolate chips & granola are actually my fav!
In a medium sized bowl add 1 cup of (cooked) chilled quinoa.
Add tropical fruit mix: raisins, cranberries, pineapple, banana chips, papaya and coconut.
Add granola, almonds and almond milk.
ENJOY THIS RECIPE WITH:
